XIII. Arisal of the idea that psychological health is an open ended hierarchical process of the following character:

Express Self impulsively at any cost

                                    changed to

Deny/Sacrifice Self now for reward later

                                    changed to

Express Self for self gain but calculatedly

                                    changed to

Deny/Sacrifice Self now to get acceptance now

                                    changed to

Express Self but not at the expense of others

                                    changed to

                        Deny/Sacrifice Self to existential realities

XIV. The development of the idea that the conceptions represented miniaturization of personality systems in operation:

(Phase III)

XIV. Explanation of hypothesized personality systems:

1.       Administration of psychological tests.

2.       Separation of subjects into groups composed of subjects having similar original conceptions.

a.       Presentation to each group of some multiple answer problems.

b.       Observation of group organization and operation.

XV. Data produced from Phase III:

1.       Group results on standardized tests.

2.       How subjects with similar conceptions organized to solve problems.

3.       How subjects with similar conceptions interacted with each other.

4.       How subjects with similar conceptions worked toward the solutions of the problems.

5.       How long, on average, it took each group to find answers.

6.       How many solutions each group found. (The express self but not at the expense of others found
more solutions than all the others put together.)

7.       Quality of answers found by groups. (All groups found good answers but they differed as to how
they found the answers and the number of answers that they found.)

8.       Average time of finding solutions.
